NTC to sell more mill land 13 May, 2010, AM IST. Stateowned National Textile Corporation (NTC) plans to raise over Rs 6,000 crore from sale of around 100 real estate properties spread over five cities Mumbai, Indore, Kanpur, Calcutta and Bangalore.
NTC expects to raise Rs 4,000 crore from the sale of assets in Mumbai, Kanpur and Indore. Union Textile Minister Dayanidhi Maran said the assets include land on closed mills and the sale was important for the NTC''s modernisation plans.
